The Flat T “Birdie Tic TP” is an individually crafted SGSS putter
distinguished by its Tour Platinum Finish, visibly welded neck and
playful hand-applied stamping by David Mills.

Across the cavity, sole, face and neck, handwritten lettering,
T.P. Mills marks and animated Birdie Tic characters give this piece
a character that cannot be reproduced by uniform production methods.

The putter shown in the photographs is the actual piece offered
for sale.

T.P. Mills Handmade

Each T.P. Mills Handmade putter reflects the shaping, finishing and design decisions of David Mills. Created in very limited numbers, every piece combines the character of handwork with the performance expected from a putter built to be played.

The Piece

The Flat T “Birdie Tic TP” brings together the clean proportions of
the Flat T head with the expressive character of David Mills’
individual handwork.

The SGSS head is completed in a refined Tour Platinum Finish, providing
a bright metallic surface for the blue and white paint-filled stamping.
Across the head, playful Birdie Tic characters appear alongside
HAND MADE, SWISS GERMAN SS, T.P. Mills marks and individually arranged
letters and symbols.

The visibly welded neck adds another unmistakable handmade element.
Rather than concealing every stage of construction, the piece allows
its shaping, stamping, welding and finishing processes to remain part
of its visual identity.

Crafted by David Mills

David Mills used the Flat T head as a canvas for an unusually playful
combination of hand-stamped lettering, T.P. Mills symbols and animated
Birdie Tic characters.

The stamping varies naturally in spacing, depth and alignment.
These variations are intentional characteristics of the handmade
process and give this individual putter its own rhythm and personality.

Blue and white paint fill highlights the markings against the
Tour Platinum surface without overwhelming the underlying SGSS head.

The Model Profile

The Flat T presents a clean blade-style profile with a broad rear
flange, softly shaped heel and toe sections and a single white
sightline positioned across the flange.

From address, the head retains the visual simplicity of a traditional
blade while offering greater depth behind the face than a narrow
classic blade.

The welded neck rises from the heel area and creates a distinctive
transition from head to shaft, reinforcing the handmade appearance
from both the address and cavity views.

Handmade Details

Material and Feel

Swiss German Stainless Steel, commonly identified as SGSS, provides
the material foundation for this Flat T head.

Its refined metallic surface works particularly well with the
Tour Platinum Finish, allowing the machining, stamping and blue-and-white
paint fill to remain clearly visible.

Impact character is determined not by the material alone, but by
the head geometry, face milling, head mass, shaft, grip, golf ball
and individual strike location.

Finish

The Tour Platinum Finish gives the SGSS head a bright, refined silver
appearance while preserving the visibility of the underlying machining
and handwork.

The finish creates a restrained metallic backdrop for the blue and
white paint fill used throughout the head.

As with any played putter, normal use may gradually produce light marks
or surface wear in areas contacting the ball, ground or headcover.
These changes are natural characteristics of use rather than defects.

Hand Stamping

The Birdie Tic stamping is the defining visual signature of this
individual Flat T.

David Mills combined animated characters, handwritten words, T.P. Mills
symbols and irregularly spaced letters across the face, cavity, sole,
bumpers and neck.

Visible markings include HAND MADE, SWISS GERMAN SS, BIRDIE TIC,
T.P. Mills branding and multiple character motifs. Blue and white
paint fill brings contrast and humor to the Tour Platinum surface.

Differences in depth, spacing and alignment are natural results of
individual hand stamping and should not be interpreted as production
inconsistency.

Face Milling

The face displays a fine circular milling pattern extending across
the impact surface.

The visible machining creates a consistent visual texture beneath
the hand-applied markings and works with the SGSS head to influence
sound, feedback and the sensation of contact.

The exact impact character will also vary with the golf ball, shaft,
grip, stroke speed and strike location.
