Each T.P. Mills Handmade putter reflects the shaping, finishing and design decisions of David Mills. Created in very limited numbers, every piece combines the character of handwork with the performance expected from a putter built to be played.

The Piece

The L Type Crocodile is an individually crafted SGSS putter personally finished by David Mills. Its flowing blade profile is paired with a deep black PVD finish and a hand-applied crocodile pattern across the top surface.

The variations created through hand finishing and individual stamping give this putter its own visual character. It is designed to be played, while retaining the individuality expected from a T.P. Mills handmade piece.

The Model Profile

The L Type presents a compact, flowing blade shape with a clean view from address. Its neck position and 6:00 toe-hang balance are intended for players who prefer visible face rotation through the stroke.

Handmade Details

SGSS is selected for its machining quality, surface finish and refined visual character. In this L Type head, the material works together with the face milling, head geometry and finish to shape the sound and impact feedback.

The black PVD finish gives the head a deep, restrained appearance while creating a strong contrast with the exposed stamping and face details. As with any premium dark finish, normal play may gradually produce visible wear in contact areas.

Crocodile Hand Stamping

The crocodile pattern is created through individually applied hand stamps. Small variations in spacing, depth and alignment are natural characteristics of the process and contribute to the identity of the piece.

The face milling pattern is an essential part of the putter’s impact character. Its depth and surface geometry work with the SGSS head to influence sound, feedback and the sensation of contact.

After play, wipe the putter head clean and dry, replace the headcover and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, chemicals or abrasive surfaces. Dark and specialty finishes may show normal wear over time.
